The old records are records created by people in-character. Thus they are as such. There is a difference between metagaming and knowing your crap. The history of the current kingdoms matters, and you, my good friend, don't seem to value that very much. If you care so much about Bel'la being able to fight back and defend themselves, then maybe you should convince him to actually take the time to launch a raid too. Good luck putting a sucessful one together.

Then he has the rights to retaliate to this attack anytime he feels. Knowing how he is, though, I doubt that will happen. If you really care so much about Bel'la defending itself, convince your friend to get off his butt and launch a raid too. Good luck putting one together.
