And even so, the singular of Elves is Elf.
Even if you're basing this off of Tolkien, this is true, because he definitely called Legolas an ELF, not an Elve.

Also, keep in mind that integral into a massive Roleplaying setting like this, is the community. The story of the land is moved forward by the efforts of all, not just one. Therefore, if the community doesn't agree with your actions, they CAN do what they'd like to stop you. You portraying yourself as some sort of martyr is only false information.
