I think of something between 10k and 30k for the beam, it shouldn't be too hard to get it, 1000 kills or so should be enough, since you can only use it on one map anyway.
Weapons that are in planning are the graviation/moving of objects and players with the mouse, then the sniper, and we have several graphics for guns so we can use those to make some classes more interesting.
