Agreed. Left could look good if the tiles were made better, but currently it's a visual turn-off, and doesn't go together well at all. So if you want new tiles I'd suggest totally remaking them, instead of slight edit/recolour.
So I'd have to pick right if any, only because left is so bad in comparison I guess
