This idea is a bit World of Warcraft-y, but I think it could work out. It kind of scares me though. I don't like the idea of being pummeled to death on my own island just because I'm in a kingdom, nor do I like the idea of being beaten to death when trying to get a quest NPC. Some stay on pmode for good reasons, y'know.

However, I am enticed by the idea. I think it'd be a good one. Would the kingdoms you fight against be determined by diplomacy still, or would the diplomacy not matter anymore?
