You speak with one of the forum admins about it, rather then acting on your own. What did VT do? He acted on his own, and thus, was punished for his actions (breaking the rules).

This is an opinion, it can't be right or wrong. The only solid thing about this is, that yes he did break the rules. I personally don't blame him for doing what he did and I believe he was right to do so, assumeing that his topic was valid.
