Unixmad isn't realizing something here.

This is a business now. Not a free game.
If this was a free message board, this would be perfectly acceptable.
However, this is a business, and message boards on which the user pays to access them, this is unacceptable.
Banning people for going offtopic is a terrible business practice.
Expect him to lose a large amount of profits within the next set of renewals if he goes through with this.

Apparently, he doesn't realize it, but in this situation, the customer is always right.
