No, its fine for you to have been wrong, thanks for clearing that up. Of course, if you later decide that game mechanics are the way to settle wars then it will be obvious you are picking and choosing based on convinence.
I am curious though, how you would suggest wars be settled, if not by game mechanics than, what? GK is in a bit of a vacuum when it comes to how to handle wars.
