X_X Made him very fast and carelessly...then got bored with him and wanted to finish the image. Hence only 1 hour on him.

Let me clarify a few things. The weird thing on his left is a cape. Poorly drawn, given, but a cape. It was originally an awesome arm among other things I didn't think was in balance with the other side so I eliminated it lazily with a cape.

As far as using the smudge tool...it was actually primarily push. Only used on flames obviously - but I sort of like the effect it gives when creating flames, although these are not even close to the most realistic flames I've created, with time and effort using those tools. Maybe you guys don't like it, dunno. The character has no smudging/pushing on him at all.
