Easier weapons? What are you talking about? Are you saying that running up to the enemy with your kv24 and humping them to death is hard? "Oh i'm freakin faster than this guy and using a faster gun. But he has a shotgun. I'm going to automatically assume that he sucks because he is usind a shotgun and should use the same gun I am using."
And about defending bases... glad to know your a team player. Someone who just walks off on his own and leaves the base defenseless. Wanna know something? I'm a heavy infantry. My distinct class weapon is a SIEGE weapon. In other words, meant for offensive use. If I try to use it defensively, I will blow up allies, they will whine to an admin about me killing allies, and I will get banned. So I use my shotgun to defend the bases that you left. Or would you rather me use a different weapon so that we lose faster? Yea... I guess I should stick to offense. But then again, people whine about me using a shotgun... they think it's unfair that I walk to a position that flanks them and shoot at them with a shotgun. All the whining makes the shotgun nerfed, and then bam. Heavys become more useless than they already are.

Stefan said himself that if a rocket is chasing you, you can direct it into a member of the other team.
You can't control the path of a rocket, so obviously it's not your fault if you kill a teamate.
