The problem is that the npcserver cannot identify the NC (NPC-Control) if you don't use your account name. May be it could print a more helpful message.

Fixed it, the timeout was zero. An admin can fix it by just resetting the NPC (Ferry-*). It could be possible to add another npc which checks if the timeout of the ferries is != zero.

I've seen that sometimes the PC comes with one anti-virus package and the ISP installs another one. It's hard to see why the computer is slow until you go into the task...

Well actually the tile updating has been fixed, previously the gserver was not sending 2x2 tile updates to the npcserver. So it's now possible to do bush respawn by server-side scripts. I can check...
