Zalactic Labs Tiles! WHE!
 

Well, after a while of working, I finished:

-main ground tile
-main wall tile
-2 tiles of ground (underground :))

All is meant for side scrolling :)

I've still got lots to do

-Transfer to deeper walls (Pillars and such)
-transfer to water
-bottoms of stuffs
-sloping or ending grass things
-edges of rocks
-nifty neato objects

I think it looks great so far, Gonmon. If I had any graphic talent, I'd do whatever I can to help you. But since I don't, I'm restricted to cheering you on from the sidelines. It looks awesome, keep up the great work.

Ah well... Due to compaints, I have decided to show you guys the zalactic labs tiles one last time. ;) Still, I have much to do, such as diagonal tiles ;)

Make background wall tiles dark, and where ledges stick out, make them bright, but in the same style...just rocks sticking out. The black lines make it look too mario-ish, which just doesn't seem Zalactic Labs like. (especially not with the music ;))

That's what I'm doing. No more previews.

If I make em any darker, the Fog effect will take it away and you can't really tell what's there :(

I'll take out the black lines tho and make some lighter ones for ledges :)

Well, I meant more like make the background and ledges look the same, just make the ledges look like rocks are coming outward from the background.

So he should slightly shrink the background tiles, and make them a bit darker to give them the feel that they are in the distance I would assume?
