Ok now the way hte guy who had questionsd earlier was right, you can use PNG and GIFs, but sueing PNG's make it harder, it must not be True Color but it can be any of the other kinds below True Color, you must use a Prog to do this though I recommend Ulead, but if you want it to be GIF, use Ulead to make it a BMP and then use BMP to make it GIF, and my question is how does the maps on G2K1 auto download, auto update for the firsttime/ if it needs upgrading, cause I noticed that the G2K1 maps all auto downloaded in my CPu including the txt files! If you coulkd help pl,ease Tell me.

but neways G2k1 doesnt auto download. every version that comes out Stefan just puts in the new one .
some of the smaller maps do auto download. I believe if ur map image file is below 64kb then it auto downloads. since Graal auto downloads any image below 64kb .. (i think thats it..)

and to convert just use PSP or any other program to make png > gif. easy

mine is 122, and the Under Ground Lake Map is bigger then 64k and that auto downloaded for me.
