HD Possibility

As mentioned within another thread we've made alot of progress with the new systems, and again we're trying to get them to emulate Default.

For instance with Default Recoil i've measured the maximum X/Y distance as 4 tiles, the travel time as 0.2 seconds, Hurt Gani being set for between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds depending on whether the Player attempts movement, and Blink/Invulnerability time being set for between 0.5 and 2 seconds depending on whether the player has turned after the initial 0.5 seconds (feel free to correct me if this is wrong, ideally Stefan would reply to my PMs to confirm whether measurements are correct/incorrect), and Custom Recoil is based on the same values.

But something i've been experimenting with is having the player Blink/become invulnerable for 1 second, aswell as not be able to slash for 1 second upon respawning after a death.
This is something which would prevent spawn laming in future, but obviously not be the same as Default and perhaps take getting used to,
i'm curious as to whether or not this is something people would prefer to have in place.

Got this on Bomy Island, just seems like common sense to me rather than something that would be obtrusive in any way.

Why not emulate default and THEN start screwing with the numbers?

Perhaps it's be best to essentially go one direction, rather than release/finish everything as default then try to change it afterwards. If tweaking the numbers is too much of a distraction, then no, you'd put it off until everything else is done. But if you can get it done now without much trouble (assuming people want this idea,) then it might just be best to get the 'release version' of everything set.

It's better to get an understanding and knowledge of the default stuff before you go tweaking them, though. That's like trying to add rules to a card game to 'improve it' before you learn the original rules fully.
