RC Copy/Paste to chat.
 

if u copy text from RC and paste it in your chat box and press enter, your NC reconnect and u get the msg
"Illegal characters in the outgoing data detected!"
and
"The server got illegal data from your connection."

why? this worked before...
please readd it.

What RC are you using? With the Windows RC I can copy and paste more than 1 line of text but if I send more than 1 line of text on the Linux RC I get the error message "Illegal characters in the outgoing data detected!".

It detects line breaks as illegal data, however the current Windows RC splits them up and sends it as multiple lines.

Yes, this ticks me off a lot as well.

Yea, on Windows you can send scripts to rc chat but with Linux I have to use pms.

The "Illegal text" stuff even happens on Windows sometimes for me, I'm not sure exactly why.

That is only in versions of RC prior to the latest 2006 release. To be 100% sure people have the latest version of RC, they should occasionally take note of the date in the RC window title, close the program, delete the RemoteControl2.exe program from the Graal folder, open up Graal and download it again, then have another look at the date.

it's anoying like dam, is it fixable somehow, like without new rc(since CJ wont do external tools) ?
