very nice, maybe try some selout?(selective outlining), i know the original pic has black outlines, but i did it roughly to see how it looks, and i think it looks better.

A small AA edit, I gotta go though so I can't finish it. Mainly did some AA on the leg and the sword, but I'm in a rush so it might not be the most helpful edit...

this is what i came up with in about 45 mins, I think I might of overdone it :/
I'll start the sword in a bit and add the detail on the map that Aeko mentioned.

no, this is what i ment with selective outlining.

but then again. the original picture had a black outline, so maybe you want to keep it that way.

That looks nice, but I prefer black outline to go with the original picture like you said. :D

If you're looking to spruce up your lines, you might be inspired by Panda's work:

Doesn't really matter, though, because it can be reproduced 'legit'.

Alrght I took a stab at making him thinner, moved the shoulder a bit and tried to straighten out the feet.
Also added the map detail and made the beak longer on the hat.

anubis_wing 07-16-2009 02:24 PM

It looks like he's collapsing from the length of his beak. Also good job at making him thinner, now fix his crappy sword.

Also, his face seems a bit wide.

Shadow_Deathstorm 07-16-2009 08:36 PM

His hat is going to eat him.
