Hey guys ! It been a while I didn't make a thread here ^^ !
As some of you may know, I've been recently making a band (muzzzic !) called Mhyre. We are actually 3 ! I sing and play bass, I got a guitarist and a drummer :D

I actually started to think about a logo for it. I thought about a wing and started with my friend Patrick to make it ! It was all turning crap until Patrick send me this:

In order to make it pixels I had to remake it on paper myself !

And then about 20mns later, I came with this pretty pixelated wing ^^

What now ?
There is that little Word design i made a while that you can see in my signature, so my problem is:

What could I do more on that wing ? How would I make "Mhyre" word design fit in any way ? Anything to add/remove/change ?

... anyways, I don't like the disorganization of the feathers, it just doesn't look right.

I can still change it !

Just tell me how you'd like to see this wing changed, the feathers are really random.

All the feathers should follow a flowing direction, rather than just pointing in any direction.

I could think about it then, but all wings are not supposed to be straight.
I just want a magical wing, really wild like a wing you could watch when an angel drop by.

To fix that I could probably do some floating feathers around it ?

I like the pixelated wing. The way the feathers flow to me seems natural except for that odd one pointing down near the top :oo:

Yeah I made it this way because I thought it would give a more windy feeling, but if it's so disturbing I can fix that ^^

Pretty cool, however are you going to color it in some way?

i may not know much about pixeling n graphic but it looks very natural.

Actually I'm planning to try and do some effects like I did on paper (picture 2) but otherwise it will remain black and white =)

Well here's a fixed and colored version of it (some blue on the outlines), it may be dark but im still workin on it to make some blur effect:

You can see I added on feather on the bottom, and fixed the top one that was poiting down =)

Well here's my current work
I like to play with some sort of aura and really bright blue colors ^^
Tried to add some sort of depth too:

I like how that looks, but that's not what you should do for a logo.
You don't really want extra color on the outside (shadows), so instead you should give each individual feather a shadow, but not the outside. Also, keep it white, I like my angel's feathers white.

Well, bad news, I'm actually changing that logo, it will be a floating leaf !
Kind like a very nice green leaf =)
I'll make another thread for that.
