Platform Style

Platform mock up I played with for a couple days with a couple people. Most graphics were rushed through, some came out decent though. Turned out to be pretty fun, reminded me of when Chris made that Mario mock up for fun a little while back. Again, this was just for fun and nothing too serious. If anyone wants these graphics for an idea they want to pursue, contact me. I have the couple of tiles made, and the images. There are more images than what you see here, this is just the only level I could find . . .

Dude you should finish this server.. I was there once (Stryke's?) and i loved it, Don't stop :(

Haha talk to Stryke, He was scripting a good bit. Had the movement of everything almost completely glitch free. Actually was pretty fun, sooo... I wouldn't mind keeping it going for fun, we have backups.

I remember the server Elk and a few others were developing. It was a sidescroller and look amazing. They bailed on the project though.

Don't know if a server like this would go far, but would be fun as hell.

Yea I saw an image of it on Testbed I believe. The beach-themed image as the background? If that's it, it looked awesome.

Yea I don't know how you would really implement the Multiplayer Gameplay into it, it would be basically a Single player game to do most of the things. And a little Player-Killing here and there. Other than that thought, I think it'd be cool to have something like this just around, to play for fun when people like me get extremely bored on Sunday evenings when football season is over :\

No not that one Angel. That was just something Elk fooled around with on Testbed. It was actually Tom who started the platformer awhile back, than Elk joined, and I tried to actually help out myself a little.. lol. :noob: But they had an actual multiplayer RPG platformer in mind while creating it, and yeah it was called Aetherforge. >_<
