Something along the lines of a dagger

I just randomly made..

looks like a cool helmet to me
|
looks like its got moss growing on the blade, cool tho :)
|
It's suppose to take an old and decaying feel. I will probably make diagonals of it so it can be used somewhere. I quite like it a lot tho.

Looks like a guitar if you squint a bit.
|
Lol Chris, I know you want to use that for a battle of the bands instrument.
|
Look at some real dagger designs and then attempt one. Drawing random shapes, adding a bit of color, and then depending entirely upon abstract view does not make for good pixel art nor design. It looks like nothing.
|
It doesn't look much like anything at all and is too small for me to see what's going on.
|
Make a rear-view mirror, it'll be perfect

The way you made the blade is too weird, and too dark.
The handle looks awesome actually, but still need some fixing. I think you should stick with a pure steel blade, here's a quick exemple of what I had in mind: Attachment 48465 |

Why is your pine tree covered in snow on the top and bottom of the trunk, but not in the mid-section?
|
For the last time, this is an elemental weapon meaning = materials coming from the environment. If you don't like it just say so but there is no need to compare it to a pine tree. Also I believe you already commented on it on Delteria's forums already so thanks/come again.

I like it, a lot of such ugly stuff is used on Zodiac, lol

If you're going to want to use this on a Graal server, I suggest you blowing it up and reconstructing it a bit bigger.
Proportions on Graal are all wacky. Your sword is going have to be much bigger if you want to get any detail out of it. I suggest keeping sprites handy on your scratch board (aka, where you're doing your random pixeling) so that you can drag your item to the character for reference. :) Edit: Try to take the criticism people are giving you (no matter how harsh) and recycle it into improving your work. They're the ones who would be subjected to your graphics on a server, so you'd be wise to work in their favor. Take what they're saying, and fix it up! |
