Chat system wouldnt work out with ranging I think, Its nice idea but I dunno would take alot of scripting, and would take up alot of room =/

Yea its cool but you should have the chat system be able to disappear. Like when they hit Tab it appears and when hit again it disappears. BTW, the new race is called Torkins.

well actually in a way it would...but anyhow it would be easy to remake the toall system.


Oh, and for every server online which is online or soon to be online...you can use the following idea.


You know how admin messages or PMs are annoying, when playing a event or doing something? You need to stop and read them...

Well, on Murasamune, we will have the "Admin Toall System".

What it will do is when you have the tag "admin" you will be able to send "admin message"s to everyone...it will be done by every time you chat, a script will check if the beginning of the chat text has the word admin message....if so, it will set a server string name adminmessage, text;...when that server string doesnt = 0, the system NPC will display the text on the upper area of the screen...also there may be additional commands for the admin chat system, like level of urgency...green being a common message or event or something, yellow being a little situation of bug...red means something big, NPC server crash or hackers...or a huge bug ;)

After the message is displayed for about 15 seconds most likely, the server string will be set to 0, and the text will no longer be displayed...
Hmm...either that, or I will make the NPC set a this.string name after the server string, then set the server string to 0, then everything could be time perfect for everyone....hehe it will take a little thinking to perfect...but it will be good and more people will actually read the admin messages and listen to them...because it wont interupt what they are doing.

If you like the idea, you are welcome to use it...just remember you need some basic knowledge in script to do it, lol.

A chat system actually probably wouldn't be the most complicated thing to pull off...except for ranged chats, but even that wouldn't be too hard. It'd probably end up being more graphical than anything.

A chat system really wouldnt be useful though...toalls is basicly the same thing. Although thas true, it wouldn't be THAT hard to pull off, its still worthless.

Eclipse has a chat system like that. Shadow knight easily scripted it a while ago and its not laggy and is easyly toggled by saying :C

The chat system is easy, TB3 already has the basic script. He just needs to move it around so it'll work like Onis' fake picture. Its going to replace toalls on Faheria and will work sorta like the Graal 3d Chat system. Its being made to make it easier to to chat with everyone instead of clicking the word bubbles and stuff. You will be able to turn this off aswell. But Oni I'd appreciate it if you'd stop showing people stuff like this. I dont trust Godspeed >_<

No chat system. It's hard enough to play with all these PM bubbles and then a chat system would just be horrendous

Nice Idea! But ToAll Bubles are a lil better =\ Since It dont take up a whole big area. It jsut takes up lots of lil areas. Nice Concept though. Kudos to TB3.

The actualy chat system will look similar to that and it will scroll also through text the main part that people are wondering about is i cant see screen it takes to much room and to that i say no you can turn the entire chat system off easily and you can remove the back ground and just leave text if you are in quest and still want to chat and also im having spam protection where after you chat you cant for abot 10 or so seconds and i can also add a language filter that would be the simplist part the problem now is just fixing it to work on all screen sizes i might just fix it for normal screen size and if you maximize it will just be a little off centered i also created a text showing interactive system for duck hunt you may see that soon and good night its late and im posting to prevent confusion.
