A new level I made!

A new level I made as my last post probably gives me a bad reputation for leveling >_<

looks good, but it looks a bit too plain. the grass needs character, and you should put something at the very bottom of the cliffs. :)

It's a nice, simple level.
Maybe randomize the bushes more.. They're in pairs.

And good luck getting in your villa there xP

It's too bare. Maybe fill up the unused space with trees or something.

I totally disagree with this.
I like it the way it is, especially because it's pretty plain, it's just a normal level for a gmap :o

Excluding the cliffs you have at least 7 tile errors. 2 of your 4 'sand puddles' make no sense and should be fixed and/or removed. Personally, I believe there should be more landscape variety (specifically concerning grass/foliage) given the layout and context of your level.

It's not a terrible level or anything as a whole though. In fact, it looks better than a large portion of what is commonly found on classic servers (whether or not that's a good thing, each of you can decide for yourselves).

I put in a lot more detail and added a little water path branching off from the ocean :D

The style you used to join the cliff's different directions is new and I'm surprised it actually doesn't look like too big of a tile error (it actually flows). Under pre-defined objects look for "Water NorthEast" and "Water NorthWest". There's a tile connecting the two directions, that needs to be there instead of what I've circled in purple. The rest of the tile errors are in red.

The level seems a little bit empty, you should try adding some walking paths. Give both the shallow and deep water some detailing. I think you could improve the foresting below the cliff, rather than having 3 trees you could join about 6-7, it'd be a cheap way to make the level look less plain and also a nice touch in my eyes.

The layout of the level is pretty decent.

Keep at it. :)

crono, do you actually spend like an hour looking over the level for tile errors?

No, it took me less than 30 seconds to spot those.

Looks pretty good, simple and straight to the point. Seems a bit, bare though.
