okay, im a person whos never heard of graal, i stumble across the website somehow and click on zone area to see what it looks like, im instantaneosly drawn to the video.

lets see, theres a man on a desolat planet with an ugly yellowish gun, okay, soooo he walks around and WOAH, he shot some barrels...okay he walks a bit more and shots down an empty bridge. I SO WANT TO SHOOT BARRELS AND EMPTY BRIDGES RIGHT?!?! no.

that video is dumb, zone may not have much to offer at the moment, but it has a BIT more to offer than idle shooting, lonership, target practice on barrels.

that video really grinds my gears, at least get some form of action on there that might entice people onto the game, because its not fun wailing on barrels that dont fight back and that video would NOT draw people to zone, im sure.

heres an idea to expand on this subject - another video contest. (oh god right). well the video would have to glorify zone, capture a whole different range of (for lack of a better term) exciting and diverse gameplay, full of strategy and futuristic wartime action that might capture some noobs attention and make him think, hmm ill check this out.

(then i admit that the desolate barrel shooting loner video proberly capture the zone feel VERY well, so congratulations on that front, but honesty isnt always the best policy. eh?)

When people advertise they usually exaggerate the truth.
Firstly have you seen the videos from the last contest? Honestly, they weren't all that great.
Second I second that the video on the graal website is dumb, why not make it look a little cooler? Make it look flashy, add some effects in, use a better movie producer e.g. sony vegas.

thats my point, and with more of an incentive to create better videos, such as to have it used to advertise the game, there could be much better produce.

Oh, THAT video. Whoever filmed that video has horrible aim, assuming he was aiming for the barrels xD

when you have been playin zone for a bit, you just dont seem to look at it from a possible noobs point of veiw.

Why not just have no video?
It drew me in without a video, it was just some fancy looking picture that made me go, OMG I WANNA BE A THIEF!
