Era not letting me change servers?
 

Whenever I logon Era, if I press F8 to switch to another server, it will not let me.

I've tried double clicking other servers, clicking and then hitting Connect, typing the server in the box on bottom.

Are you guys that desperate for players? ;)

But seriously, how do I fix this?

I could have searched, true. But neither of those answer my question, or either of the questions the other two guys had about it in the other two posts.

Has there been any official answer on a cause or a possible fix for this, or is it just as Tig said in the other thread that we have to wait for it to be fixed on Cyberjoueur's end?

I think it's all designed by the leader of Era to make us stay on the server, so the playercount stays on the top. It's too much of a hassle to close Graal then reopen :(

so, what's wrong with Era?
you can't switch server from Era.
to change you have to close the client and open it up again.
no matter what server you are trying to go to, it just doesn't let you connect.

Press f9 on Era to disconnect yourselves till the problem is fixed.

Someone asked me why they couldn't do this while I was in-game yesterday. It's not doing it for me, I am able to switch without trouble. How many of you is it affecting? Do you see anything different when you press F8 (eg: No server list at all, blank news, anything weird)? Are you able to type in a server name in the field in the lower left successfully (eg: typing 'era' then hit enter), or is it overall plain not working?

Hmm, well it seems I have this (attachment) on the login screen, now...

Wow this sucks. I couldn't change server, and when I decided to just get off Graal and log back on, I couldn't reconnect.

I cant change servers too. when I click F8 I see everything fine but when I click "connect" or double click another server nothing happens.

so, i went to take some pitures.

wow, i made a thread about this not too long ago and nothing happened.

it's pretty annoying, not to mention F9 doesn't work.

This is exactly what happens to me @ TSA.

And I was using the F9 disconnect thing fine the other night. Pressing F9 should work until this is fixed, if not I guess talk to Squirt or somebody. >_<

The time it takes to close and re-open Graal to the server selection screen is a lot faster than waiting 10 seconds when pressing F9 :P

You should read the message and simply press "Enter" to disconnect instantly instead of waiting for the 10 seconds.

Edit: It wasn't my idea though...I said a simple "/disconnect" would do the same thing 10000x easier

do yourself a favor and hit alt + F4 when on era

I thought it was a script at first. If it was it should be illegal.
