(GK Staff) Tag
 

I was wondering if we could get the (GK Staff) tag to show on the Administration list if worn.

I've been wearing this tag a lot lately to signify that I am available to help newer players. Most people think it's a joke and don't believe that I am, in fact, GK Staff - despite my tag saying it.

If we moved the GK Staff tag under Administration Tab it may be much more helpful, and easier for new players, and players in general, to get to the staff members they may need to contact for help, suggestions, etc.

Don't you have a normal staff tag to use instead?

We do. But in my case, it's my Events Master tag.

I'm more than willing just to host events. I answer questions for players a lot and I help them find things (in quests, for example). I think it'd be helpful for the tag to be up there so players can locate staff to help them.

Not everybody with the GK Staff tag are staff on the main server because some members of GK Staff are developers and I see no need for the guild to be on the staff list.

Zelt, if they don't believe you, just whip out the EM tag.

I think you should also get a FAQ tag or something. But then again you don't really HAVE to host while on tag do you? You can still help. :)

Not sure if you care about Zone Zeltino, but Zone has a (Zone Staff) tag and it hasn't worked out well.

I wouldn't advise the tag being added to server options.

We've had more problems with developers trying to say they are Zone staff and can deal with enforcing rules when the 'Zone Staff' don't have rights on Zone to deal with those problems.
I'm not accusing the Graal Kingdom's developers of anything and maybe that isn't a problem for GK. I'm just stating problems a similar tag has had on Zone.

Maybe Kingdoms could have an additional staff tag just labeled 'Staff' if there is not one already.

Graal Kingdoms did have a tag labeled 'Staff' a while back but it's currently not in use.

EMs get enough PMs when they're on their kingdom tag to host, I doubt we could wear our EM tag for more than a few minutes without doubling the size of our PM folder.

Agreed. When I'm on EM tag, I'm expected to Host, not necessarily help out players. I'm bombarded with "MUSICAL CHAIRS" and "WATERGLASS".

Not saying that's a bad thing; that's just what happens.

Exactly. So I wouldn't just tag up to answer questions or help out players; it'd be strictly for hosting events.
