Benefits of being in Zormite.
The way I have Zormite structured will introduce better cooperating among players and will bring about many benefits. Unfortunately, given a low membership, many of these options will be unavailable. However if you join and fulfill the duties of your rank and provide those options, more options are likely to become available in return. Here are just some of the benefits that I am hoping to introduce. Those in italics are those not yet available, those that are bold are.
-Assistance with building houses. Even multiple houses. And you don't even have to be in Zormite. Understandably, since I'm the only person providing that assistance right now there are limits. This duty also befalls labors and mining/smithing tradesman. Possibly lumberjack tradesman as well. -Rules which seem like a pain but if properly enforced they'll help make Zormite more visually appealing and will introduce a degree of order. These rules specifically apply to stuff like where to put houses and how to decorate them. Here's a rule, having at least one house is required. We have a Magistrate who will look into these matters. -Priests to provide a range of blessings, and possibly even possessions for spars. Bile possession ftw. -A librarian to accept those ancient text donations you dig up and to compile the information into complete lists. Also they'll become the people who stockpile spells for others. -My personal collection [which is rapidly growing] of weapons and armor to provide a range of stylistic appearances. -Alchemists who can provide higher quality alchemy goods. Once they're part of a cooperative group, some obscure recipes might actually become worthwhile to make en masse, which means more possibilities for everyone. -Assistance in getting body parts, especially for alchemists but also for others. This is the duty of the hunters. -Levelling parties, limited at first but they should grow in time. Not as useful for higher end players yet. -Scriptmasters to provide coveted level 107 scrolls, and not just destruction scrolls. If you know what I mean you'll definitely know the full value of scriptmasters. -Warm and fuzzy community. -A wide range of crafting trades to provide a much more easily obtainable supply of goods, even down to fences and fortifications. -An army of mages to screw around and have fun with. -Free food and lots of it, even though that's mostly ineffective now that Tig has slowed down the food digestion rates. |
Sounds like a plea to not get shut down.

or a plea for some activity. these benefits sound good to me.

We have final exams in a few weeks. But I would be more than happy to help out if you put me back in.

Lording Parties:
Someone has just reminded me of the party follow function which allows the slowest party member to travel at the same speed as the fastest as well as gather exp if they're close. This is important because I've begun doing a lot of lording and questing recently. This means that I'm going to be doing a lord farming party occasionally in the evenings now. Only requirement is that you be either in Zormite, or not in another kingdom. Gold is very much preferred, but not essential. I'm not interested in taking more then two people along. |

Still unrealistic given how difficult it is to get house kits but I feel that housing is still a worthwhile approach. Another thing I'm hoping is to continue a fair amount of my questing after I get my EC equipment so I can farm potions and use them to get alchemy items which I would then event off fairly heavilly in private kingdom events. But that's still a little ways off. |
Lords can't get past my defense. Also I know their spots. I also have random lord parts and quest items just laying around cause.

Updates:
Here's a few updates: I have 82 mental, and its rising towards 107 quickly thanks to the help from loyal Zormites. In return, I offer free DoPV services. I will let you know when I am on Zormite and ready to accept DoPV packages. You bring your saphs to me and I'll make DoPV from them. I charge a small service fee if you don't bring your own carrots. I cash in the dusts for full value and you get the platinum. In theory, this becomes an alchemist's duty but I don't have very many alchemists right now. Another new feature is the scroll cycle as I call it. I can buy my own scrolls, write them, and nuke WHH to peices by myself, but there is a certain amount of time it takes. I've taken to giving a few trusted Zormites des scrolls and having them blow up WHH for me. The deal is, you bring me all the sapphires and rubies for my own personal use, and you keep everything else. Afterwards when I have the money, I 'might' give other Zormites large sums of money to buy scrolls for me, you get to keep the EA's and IWD's. However since I need to do those as well I just might do alot of them myself. See, everyone benefits, and everyone gets healthier, including me. Recently I've been able to supply the night crew with every skill they asked for simply because I was buried with skill scrolls. I was also able to provide a trusted Zormite with DoV and DoPV, so good things happen when you help keep me healthy. I help keep you healthy. I haven't been able to do as many lording parties, but one day as I start to enforce level requirements for ranks, those will come back as well. If you haven't noticed, this brings up a fair amount of cooperation. People are right, Zormite is full of beginners. Instead of letting them spend months or years letting them become competent players on their own I'm using cooperation to help speed up the process. So, consider Zormite. Take care of her, and she will help provide you with a brighter and sooner future. |
Does this mean I can become corrupt and make underlings do my bidding?

You can work together with the magistrate to handle violations. Do not confuse enforcement and permission giving with actual authority. Remember, Zormite is more socialist now. |
These benefits are still available, even if some of them have been stretched a little thin. Feel free to ask about them in game or forum RP. I will try to help with them, BUT you will have to be in Zormite for a little while before I will let them become available. I don't want people who'll mooch and run.

In answer to the thread title: None.

Benefits can be read as "things that are expected upon joining any kingdom"
