...there was an hacker on Zone without any staffs online, srsly, Zone NEEDS more active staffs, there are rarely any staffs online that could take care of hackers.

Actually the staff is pretty active. But we don't have access during the day because we're usually at school.

i didn't mean ET's, i meant people with RC to Zone mainly.

this is probably gonna be locked, last time i made a thread like this, i was told not to make a thread about hackers, but post a ticket instead.

read the thread please, it's about lack of staffs that can PREVENT hackers to come to Zone and cheat.

More staff, even frequent staff, wouldn't solve the problem, simply because the staff can't really do anything, since most hackers can bypass bans. Not to mention, you have to be at a certain level on the staff ladder to be able to keep them off the server (until they bypass). The most an ET can do is lock them, which also fails against guest hackers and IP changing. The only way this problem is going to go away is when the hackers get bored of screwing with people, which, strangely enough, involves the server count "dying." What good is hacking on a server with roughly 6 people on it a day? It would yield little in benefits to them.

Believe it or not, this is a problem we have to wait out. No quick "band-aids" are going to be able to fix it.

Zone is dead.
Because this isn't where you tell people of hackers. If you want someone banned because they're hacking have proof and send a support ticket.

Simple solution, get a better hack protection for graal.

@sean: its just another crying topic. People call other people hackers because they get pwned. I seen it all too often.

i'm not crying about it, i don't care if i get "pwned" by a hacker, because i'm mostly on the dropship.
i just think that its kinda odd because if you look on other servers, most of the time there is 1-4 people with RCs (sure they cant ban him but they can scare him off.)

if someone's hacking and there's no staff online, you don't make a thread about it. you take a video, or screenshot of it, and get a witness. you then report it to a staff member.

why is it so hard for people to stay on tropic?
i made this thread because i think there should be more people with RC on zone because it makes hacker go somewhere else so they don't get banned (even if the guys with RC cant ban, it still scares hackers off)
sure ET's can lock them but it doesn't scare them off.

Hackers are fun realy if you don't care too much about your stats. It's fun to attempt and kill them and they freak out if you keep winning.

1. The mood you set on this thread was you're angry because hackers are owning you. "Once Again.." Implies you were killed by a hacker over and over, again. If you were on dropship all the time why would you care?

2. Hackers get on graal knowing they are likely to get banned, or get banned and find a way to bypass it. I doubt people with just RC are gonna scare them away.

3. It's not hard for people to stay on topic, just this thread is kinda fail.

4. Some hacks are made just for that server.

5. Other servers have people working and/or have a higher playercount so people with rights are needed.

i was never killed by this hacker since he used ice cannon.
i care because i believe in Zone somehow.
sure they know that they likely going to get banned, but its only a few that acutely care to find a way to bypass it.

Like John said, they have awesome hacks. John should be ET, he'd find a way to torture them and laugh and have fun while doing it. I'd log on just to see it happen.


Erm. Maybe you didn't quite understand. Other servers have people on that server with rights that can ban and such and deal with matters such as those. Zone, has Zone debug that people work on. Are you trying to say that you want those rights? Anyhow, Zone doesn't have a realy high playercount so 10 people with RC on zone is a bad idea.

Other servers actually hirer more then five staff who can ban. Note that most of the five aren't active.

No matter how many staff there are, there's always gonna be a hacker on when you're the only other one on. It's just Graal forget about it.

I usually deal with hackers but I was on vacation last week. That might be part of the problem.

As far as I know, ETs host events and GPs deal with player dissorder/ hackers / glitchers / etc. am i rite?

When there's no GP Staff a ET can use its commands to temporarly stop the hacker until a GP comes around.

Ya, that's on a normal server. Zone's not normal, ET's work as Gp's pretty much. Does Zone even have a GP? Last I recall Mike was GP, and he resigned.

I'm quite sure the only GP we have is Supernanny, other then that we have no other GPs.
Also in Zone ETs are suppose to be the ones who ban and etc, since Dante55555 (Mike) use to test them on their ability to catch hackers.

Have you taken a bump on the head recently. ET's are NOT supposed to be able to ban. They can lock and report glitchers/hackers to higher staff but they are not supposed to be able to ban. Dante55555 (Mike) also had more staff rights then people were aware of so I can see how you would mistake ET's being able to ban with him having the right too.

just thought you should know, Dante wants you to stop calling him mike as you are not his friends. well there was another remark, it got magiked away :(
