Inside Level

I've noticed that not a lot of people post just an inside level, so I've decided to post one of mine.
It's a very simple level without any decoration, and I basically wanted to ask you guys for some c/c on the layout of the room.

The room itself is part of an Inn, if you go up the stairs you'll reach your room (if you rented one) and well...rest.

For the rest of the room, you'll notice that entry is blocked off by a block. We're gonna put a person there who'll block your entrance, probably make a block.png reference as well, since I like making references, haha.
The area is a members area, inspired by Raymond E. Feist's "Berret's Coffeehouse", where people who attained certain rights can enter to get special services, and quests.

The decoration is in progress, this is a really basic version.

The perspective seems to be off... at least for me. I blame the railing :x

Hm, yes, the railing was originally meant for stairs, I thought it kinda worked :o

nice :)

Pro commentary there from Elizabeth, I agree. I think I would have made the middle area a bit larger to avoid perspective issues a little more. I dislike the carpet and the way it is laid out too, you don't put mats down overlapping each other.

The empty area, as most people probably realize but I'm stating it anyway, is the middle of the building. Which is a room that is unused... Maybe I should make a storage room out of it.

Are you guys saying that the little "wrinkle" in the walls next to the chimney/fireplace thing is confusing?

I also just realized that the wall in the middle area is too short compared to the other walls...

it's not that, it's just that i find it doesn't fit in. it seems weird there.

I see. I thought, however, that if I left it like it was, it felt awfully bare. Maybe that was because of the lack of decoration.

ahhh, i see what you mean! it's nice, it just seems kind of odd.

Yeah, thats what I thought too... Maybe some round corner tiles, but thats for later. ^^
