Barrel Races
 

I was thinking there can be some sort of barrel race. You need to throw barrels to finish the race. But you would need it so when you throw barrels it can't hurt anyone and no goo will come from it. And when you throw a barrel the explosion shouldn't blow up any other barrels.

The first level I made is just everyone going on one track. (Note: It's just an example I will make it longer if needed)

The second is everyone gets their own row. First one to finish wins. I just did a couple of rows to give an example of what my idea is, it would be much larger if created. Same thing goes though, barrels' explosions don't cause other barrels to explode and no goo. It's all just throwing barrels to clear the path.

It's funny, its cool to play, even newbs can win it and very easy to make (If you have the scripts ready, the levels are not hard to make)

I made another one with the lava tileset, I think it came out much nicer. And once again I will make longer if needed. It's just really an example.

Not really, I'm sure that a great scripter as Dan can have a script for that done in 10 Minutes.

It will just be like ''Ifplayertouch warp player to x y level'' but then in scripting language XD

No I mean, it's just going to be frustrating for players if there in first place and by accident they hit the wall.

Isn't that in all races? If you lag you don't realy have much of a chance.
Well if they're stupid enough to touch the wall.. Unless the gap is realy tiny or something.

No, only in Snowrace-Mech.

You can have skills in Snowrace foot and bike, look jurre xD

Lag screws you up in all races, its plain and simple. Since you end up warping into objects without knowing they're there.

As for the wall, its their fault for being careless :)

Depends on what kind of lag I guess.

It's a race, why would it need all of that? The barrels are just meant to be there to give an obstacle.

Actually yes, they did. I don't know what direction Zone's events have taken in the past 2 years which is why I stated "Please don't tell me the server has succumb to pathetic events to keep it's playercount."

If half of Zone's events have nothing to do with the server it doesn't make it anymore right.

why dont you just log onto a classic server, zone is a shooting game, lately it seems like their trying to turn it into mario/donkey kong online.
