The problem is it requires changing all your stuff on all servers.

Plus, what about banks or other things that store flags in databases as opposed to the player?

And no one else could use the old account, either, because you could have random flags on servers in databases.

Maybe not as a complete change, which would have essentially the same effect as getting a new account, but just changing what it displays as. Your old account name would still work for everything, but then there's the option for the "displayed" account name, which is tied to that original account.

Maybe just allow them to change their community name?

Changing a account name shouldn't be that difficult, depending on how your database is structured.

This would be nice feature like on (not stating game name) you can change account names and each month they would change all accounts which requested it, though I think each person should be entitled to one account name change per year.

If you've choosen your account name, you've choosen it. Isn't harder then that.

By doing this, you're saying a player could change their identity just because they don't like their account name? The 'Graal#######' system isn't really a problem either, it's just up to scripters to use the communityname variable better.

I'd prefer something along the lines of <Something>Jay<Something> though I'm not completely sure... I've had this account name for far too long, I believe it's been over 4years now. Though most of that time I was a trial.

Community name can be changed if really needed, you will keep stuff on Graal but will lose stuff on the forums and in global guilds. Changing the account name is not really possible, we only do it if it's really needed (e.g. for high globals).

Well unfortunately I don't have access to a community name changing thing, due to I created my account before the Graal###### so I don't know how to change my user.
