First explain me what is wrong with it.
I think that it is no longer a symbol anymore for supreority since theyre in the shop,but for the rest in 6 weeks its just normal again.

i think the removing bps/rps from trader was just a side note, his main point is he wants players to create an advertisment for graal zone and the best one is released...ridiculous, since zone itself isnt worth advertising.

maybe graal on a whole, but how would you convince people its worth the money without lying?

Red and Bluepistoles will be removed Saturday, Feb 28th. They were placed there for Valentines Day, 3 other weapons were planned to be released while RP/BP were in-shop.

As for your idea Mino, its interesting. I'll discuss it with Dan when I see him next.

Yea the removal of Rps and Bps was a sidenote sorry I didn't make that show. Good too know they will be removed.

My real proposal was the advertisement idea since this way we could increase the player count :) which would be nice.

Someone explain me whats wrong with RPs and BPS, evryone is complaining but no one gives arguments for it.

Rps/Bps are a symbol of skill though the skill needed now is just being able to win a dam snowrace? or some quiz? or being able to jump to the top first :) which isn't exactly the real way of playing zone since I believe zone is a 2d SHOOTING game and not a jumping race..... but although it is enjoyable, it shouldn't give away items which should be obtained through killing a number of people and being able to survive at dm or winning a spar tourney.

@Miniman It shouldn't be staff's job since most of the staff don't get paid besides Dan and Stefan but they have other issues to deal with, as for the other staff they are basically players like you and me but they have the ability to host events, ban and etc. Advertisements can be made by them though it can also be made by the community itself to help the server they enjoy out.

Excuse me? When has an ET hosted a Single Snowrace, Single Jumprace or a "Quiz" to hand out Red/Blue pistoles?

If you haven't realised zone is a GUN game not a JUMPING/RACING game, jumping and racing I believe were added as a another way to play though not the main way... and since Rps/Bps are supposedly a symbol of skill they should be won in the a conventional way.....

I understand if bombs are given away from those races but a gun? Not just any gun two of the best guns? Being given away just like that....
But it doesn't really worry me since noobs usually get it :P and they only last 30 days.

Hmmm bad idea. You want one of those awesome weapons it should be in a skillful event. Jumprace/races or even a quiz aren't skillful enough to warrant giving those in a event. They are all way too easy and giving out bombs/zone money I think is good enough in those types of events.

I am sure if any ET is giving away prizes like that in these types of events Jesse would fire them immediatly.

We can't host races for those prizes even if we wanted too. Jesse only adds us the slots for what we need if it's posted on forums. We don't have anything more then bombs you can buy in Zone money shop sitting in our slots. And it's usually a deathmatch or spar tourny if it is for redpistoles,etc.

No its not. I know you don't play Zone, but you really shouldn't be basing an opinion off what others say. You seem to do that often on the forums.
1. There has NEVER (that I've allowed) been a SINGLE Jump/Snowrace/"Quiz" (I still don't know what this is) for a Red/Blue Pistole.
2. There are Snowrace Tourneys yes, every once and a while. I fail to see a problem with these, host 5 Snowraces awarding points for the top 5 places.

Driving Speeders/Running fast are parts of Zone. Seeing whos best at this isn't a problem. But thats just my opinion.

especialy the running away nowaday, people have become real pros at that.

1) I'm basing my opinions on my experiences while hosting so get off your high horse and stop thinking i'm basing it on others opinions.

2) Either way I don't think it should be done for jump/snowrace/and whatever Quiz is (tourney's I mean). They are way too short to warrant that type of prize but seeing as how you in your wisdom had dan add them to traders I don't think its a problem now as lots already have these items.

3) If your going to host snowrace tourneys or jumprace tourneys make it more then 5 rounds. I bet Jesper can still kick butt in it.

4) No your right those aren't a problem but zone is about skillz when killing people. Not seeing who can outrun who or who can outrace who on a speeder.

And I'm going to say you've held Snowrace Tourneys in the past for Rps and Bps, I remember the day when Bps was in a snowrace tourney and I was like 'OMG BPS DM FINALLY' then realised it was a snowrace....

Go play Zone and stop making opinions based off what others say, again this isn't the first time you've done that.

Snowrace Tourney isn't short. Takes 10-15 minutes to host, same length as a Deathmatch. If you do Snowrace Tourney Points Version, that takes even longer...
And adding those items was a good idea... Assuming other aspects of that plan were followed through. Which they werent. Anyway, they were supposed to be there or 14 days, last 30 days.

Again, theres never been a jumprace tourney. And theres always DIFFERENT winners for Snowrace Tourney.

10-15 minutes on zone is short jesse. I don't know what other events you host that take less time then that but I've hosted events that were longer then that on zone. Points version doesn't take a long time. you predetermine how many points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd then host the races and record the results.

I could see it taking longer in case of a tie in the points but otherwise the races are pretty short (I should know i've hosted tons).

I would like to remind you that I hosted on both gold servers so I think I have pretty good insight on stuff. Anyways am done with you and will answer only other people.

I don't play much anymore, but i'm sure i've seen rps/bps/reaps hosted off for a jump race atleast once.

10-15 minutes is the length of an average Deathmatch Event with 30ish Players in it.

Suggesting anything about weapons is an automatic ignore from Stefan.

@Switch True though Dante (Kds) use to submit the problems to Stefan or Dan and usually it would get fixed. I guess its Jkool and SN's job now :) Good luck guys

@Jkool .. 10 - 15minutes? Do you even remember anything about before? Were events for Rps/Bps 10 - 15minutes? No.
They were at the very least 40minutes, but I guess ETs no longer need to be patient and watch the whole event, they'd much rather just spawn bots but I guess it's suppose to be fine since no one seems to remember how good a real event was.
