i think,we could gain a little bit of time. if we were able to type the amount of grenades/bombes/proxies ...we want buy.

for exempl i want buy 600 flamebombs .ï go to the trader . i type there amount i want , then the price appear. and i accept or decline the offer.

I think its better than clicking 600 times on the bombs like a *******...and spending 5minutes ...

You missed the point. The ability to put in the amount you want of an item would make it easier with the trader. So it would take the same amount of time to get 10 as it would me getting 500. We both input the amount that we want of an item and hit either accept or decline.

Its that simple.

i think the trader is scripted in a simple way, you press what u want and the weapon gets added by 1 ( ex: addweapon("foo"); clientr.item.foo += 1; )

Right now the only device you need to buy items in the trader, is the mouse, to open the window and purchase the desired item.

The usual and mostely bought item are 5 medkits, 5 clicks to do so.

The example of 600 flamebombs, would require 200 clicks since those are sold in packs of 3.

But honestly, how often do you buy 600 flamebombs.

Why should it been changed from the single device needed to buy 5 medkits, beeing 5 clicks with the mouse, into the requirement of a second device as it's be the keyboard, and having to click with the mouse to select aswell as type in the number, always when you buy those 5 medkits.

Thats idiotic.

Its very handy I got 40k sometimes I need 600 flames yes, like every week..

Simply cause you think, to do a change on this or that would be good, but you don't take the rat tail in mind, that has often a negative effect on other aspects.

Less overly large sized, and bright colored letters, should also help increasing your seriousness.

how about, left click to "quick buy" items, like you do now
and right click to specify amount, everyone wins, because i agree it would be annoying to have to type 5 medkits everytime.

I like this idea. But...

Make it only useable when in the "Grenade" part of the Trader Menu.
It wouldn't be needed and would be annoying in the "Heal" or "Weapons" Section of the trader.

Then whats the point of having like +2 (bombs) at (price) it would sort of mess around with that since what if you bought 3 bombs they would need a brand new script for this. I reckon just stick with clicking not like you need to buy 600 flame bombs a day... its simple use like 20 then repurchase it after you use the 20 then you'll always have 600.

Zone should have bigger priorities then this... seriously think about it, making Dan use his time and effort on something which won't do anything basically besides make it a slight bit simpler to purchase a few bombs? Instead he could work on Tsunami's idea on making a special currency for each time someone gets a base, which i reckon would be a lot more productive, and possibly reduce laming.

If you're going to make your font big and red you should definitely make sure you're spelling the words right. It makes you look silly.

Anyway, I think this is a waste of time. The process has been fine for the past 3 years. Just buy some more when you die. You aren't honestly going to use 600 flamebombs in the span of one life.

I'm completely with Kds on this one, Its been fine for the past 3 years and who uses 600 flamebombs within a week? unless you glitch of course....
