Your civic duty!
 

It is hereby your civic duty to build at least one house on the island. Please consult me as to where you wish to place the house.

I am looking into the land zoning and residential development of the island.

Also, fences and fortifications ARE encouraged but must be run through the residential development administrator [aka me] first in order to maximize visual appeal and property value for surrounding areas.

If there's a problem with kingdom members not building houses, shouldn't we try to find out why and offer them help/incentives to build instead of just saying "Go do it."?

One, the "Go do it." Is supposed to be kinda funny in my clearly insane way.

Two, I think its more of a "don't care" attitude rather then a "I can't for ____ reason."

Just throw them in and around Vateril...that place is looking so devoid of life except for me...

Err if I may. Why not have a storeage house full of house building materials and when someone wants to "build a house". Charge them a price for the materials.

The reason most people don't want to is the fact that it takes so long to mine the stone.

Then you could have another rule stating that they must contribute to the building materials that way its kept up.
