Old Zone?
 

I had some ideas to maybe bring zone back a little. I know many people dislike gelats, but unfortunately they are going to stay. I thought maybe changing red and blue rifle back to gold only, plus adding photon and jetpack back into the shop, and making them lifetime :D it still leaves the gelat weapons, which I am sure will continue to sell, but it gives players who only have enough money to purchase the gold subscription itself a chance to use some gold weapons? :cool: Idk. just sayin what i think :/

I also think it would be very helpful for the gelat weapons, to assign them to certain classes, so when you purchase one you cant just use it all on commando and lame ur ass off! I think this would be very helpful to balancing out zone's so called "lame weapons"

And for the event weapons. maybe make them last two months? give everyone a little more time to use their hard earned weapons :D

I played the first night of zone, and let me tell you it was great the great thing about it was the player count and the number of opportunities. I would love to see those things back and available not just for gold but trials it was so much fun with one hundered people on 20 or 30 just does not cut it.

Liftime weapons wouldn't help. 1 month is enough for a event weapon.

I pay for this game so I want to have some advatages.

Although this would be exceptionally nice to have it like that, back in old zone trials could get br, rr, jetpack and photon but only if they spent like 7hrs on zone without logging out. (was such a great achievement having a trial with a br because the stats didn't save)

Also if you want to see old zone back we would need to remove alot of the base laming and try get people racing for bases and fighting in the middle of iricia instead of peoples bases as well as having alot of guns removed and we would need to make a load of changes not for just zone but for the whole of graal to have it back to the old ways, which i think isn't our highest priority at this point in time.

I think the highest priority for zone right now would have to be to increase the enjoyment in actual game play e.g. reduce laming occurring at bases, more events, trying to stop hackers bypassing through graal's secruity and hacking on the server, and whatever else can be done to max out enjoyment of the game.

By the way I do miss old zone and i have nothing against anything you've said i just reckon that we should work with what we have instead of making constant changes to the game, because it would through a lot of the newer players off course.

My point is its a good idea though there are going to be a lot more complaints from newer players who have gotten use to the current system, and changing it may affect more then us older players and as well as us having more important matters to be dealing with.

To reduce base laming and get fighting back to other bases, why dont we give a few experience points for capturing a base, like when the kills come up in the bottom cornor have like a flage then the base number they took and assign different experience values per base? I think this might urge players to take over other bases, moving battles out onto the actual field. Also why not give like 100 zone money to the winning team of say a round on Ircia? And maybe a little more xp for it too? :D If my ideas are horrible just let me know ;)

Well Jkool had a idea similar which I'm expecting will try and follow up on, this idea is that each time your team wins or captures you capture a base (can't remember the specifics) you get points with these points you may purchase items (not sure what kind) and well that sounded like a good way of getting people back into the real objective of Iricia, Capture and Defend the bases.

Obviously everyone will agree with adding weapons back to the in-game shop. That means less that they have to pay for, and your talking about this to the paying customers of graal. Photon should be removed, not made easier to obtain.

Its just your the one who told me bout it so i suspected it was your idea my bad tsu and yes everyone would agree with the weapons being back to in game shop but if they are i believe they should have a time limited and make put them in gelat shop as well but for a much longer period of time e.g
jetpack 7500 (Zone Money) 1month
jetpack 50 (gelats) 2months
or something along the lines of that

and yes remove greenrifle and photon or nerf them (i know photons already been nerfed but its still greatly over powered)

Tough i dont play alot anymore at zone, i still think that the shop should be how it used to be.. Weapons in there, You buy them once and have them for lifetime.. Also eventweapons lifetime, I understand people like to have them. Tough when almost half zone have them they aren't special anymore and they should be..

And bring the cookies back?

I like the idea of putting in both shop and gelats because those who cant pay still have the opportunity to get it and those who can pay can get it fast and for longer :D I also think the way event weapons are hosted out should be changed :D

zone back when it was a private server was probably the most fun I've ever had with it. since then it's lost it's touch.

Excuse me, old Zone never had Red Rifle or Photon, not sure about Blue Rifle and jetpack, those where there when I started, but I'm almost sure OLD Zone didn't have them.

No matter what you do, base laming will remain. It's always been there, just people feel that it's necessary to play by base laming only now.

Zone was fun and all back then but the content is only half of it, community is the other half which will never come back.

I tried iricia with automatic turrets. They worked but there was one flaw....if you were quick enough in moving around you could make the auto turret kill a member of the team that owns the turret. Was funny when we tested it on debug.

The community when I left sucked.
People just want to get their kills, no matter what cost (rude to others/laming), and are just plain rude at almost all times. And they're so dumb and you can't understand most of them (because their grammar is so poor), I can guarantee a pineapple can beat them in an IQ test.
