can someone post the origional hook shot images? thx

I know this is an old forum, but in case anybody still wants the images, I made these based on the Link to the Past Zelda Game. They work ok with the script from <link purged> which I guess you are using (they could still use some tweaks for alignment) The image codes are not them same because I don't know how to convert a .png image to .gif. The image name above the picture is what you name the image to match the script. (Also I don't know what ss_bomb.gif is)

hookshot.png graphic posted above is stolen from the Zelda LttP, so ya... but either way I have never seen that used. Originally it used a modification of the bow4 graphic:

However I lack the hook part of the graphics.

Oh ya, I forgot to edit that, I meant to do a better quality version of that, but I had to go so I did not have time to edit it. I'll just delete so no one gets mad. But this is for offline use only since it is used with a gs1 script. But is there any images or screenshot that shows the hook, I can remake it if I can see it.

That's because the hook was a bird.

This predates the birdshot on Classic by far, but they may have used the same graphics besides the bird. Pretty sure the first hookshot appeared on N-Pulse, but they used a rope instead of the chainlink, still used the bow4 as a base though.

Pretty sure the bird shot actually used a weird blue and gray bird image(didn't really look like a bird) but I no longer have the image, but I did base one of my sigs off of it:

Graal has spawned some weird items.

Birdshot was a combination of Bruges Bird (the blue thing in Dusty's image which acted similar to a Boomerang), the 'Chain Thingy' obtained in Zol's Toilet, and the 'Hook Thingy' traded for Bird Doll in underwater City, working together to act as a Hookshot.

The bird image was a custom sprite:

However this is exclusive to Classic. Other servers actually used a hook...

I vaguely remember an older version of Classic where I had a bird in my inventory for a day or two before I found a hook shot and I was shooting the bird out of it.
