it's really nice, the top part of it looks kind of off, though.

i don't know, it's just that when i look at it, it just doesn't look in place. maybe if it was like a shade or two darker

You're shading the top like it's circular, yet the perspective rules that out, which makes it look really ugly and completely steals focus.

The top part is stealing focus as Ziro said, and is using quite bright colors compared to the parts under.

Google a cabinet image, and shade it like they look on top irl using the same perspective.
