He's tried a different browser. He can only access the website and forums by using a web proxy.

I hope he made a support ticket as well, and is not relying solely on people helping him on the forums.

Not allowed to post for others, but I will let it slide since it is a tech problem (posting this so people dont report the thread)

I assume he's checked his hosts file, flushed his DNS, and tried switching DNS servers (OpenDNS is awesome)?

Does it happen on other computers on his network (if possible to test)?

This is also happeneing to quite a few people i've been talking to on UN today.

Flushed the DNS with no luck there and I don't know what the other two are. I can't try any other computers atm.

Try switching to OpenDNS; Google it, I can't post a link. If that works, you know it's a DNS problem.

Alright I just tried this, but sadly no luck here either.

Scripts don't work and I've tried a few proxies and have disabled the "remove scripts" part but alas.. ^^^^^^

After some checking, I've found that everyone involved uses Sky Internet service. I've contacted Stefan and given him the names of a few accounts involved but also suggest that if anyone using Sky is also affected they should contact the ISP. Stefan is checking things from Graal's end but it seems as though this may be a problem where Sky is blocking IP's since all those affected appear to only be able to log on to Era and UN. Which happen to be in a differant IP range from all the rest.

oh my bf works for Sky haha- whats the IP range effected

Bell 01-05-2009 09:11 PM

194.5.*.* and whatever the ip's are for support and the website. I haven't checked to see what those are yet.

Bell 01-05-2009 09:20 PM

Its fixed now. Stefan's magic again.

Rufus 01-05-2009 09:20 PM

All is well, thanks Bell and Stefan.

We were not receiving data from Sky/Easynet, unixmad changed the configuration to fix the problem.
