Tig is willing to help oversee the development team until we rebuild a suitable infrastructure.

Sales left us with a few scattered devs, as he and Andy have been doing everything themselves.

Both Sales and Andy threatened to quit separately if they wouldn't be awarded the Manager position... I couldn't keep both, so I kept Sales who I thought was doing a good job. As it turns out, he was a good dev but not a team builder.

Tig has a lot of experience building teams, and will help us get back on our feet.

Also, Mange has come to me and said that he no longer has the time to be an Admin on Era and will be staying around as an LAT in his free time. Deophite is being promoted to Player Services Admin.

Thanks guys, we're only going to have a little bit of dev downtime while we hire a team, so if you have any dev skills make sure to watch the staff openings section of the news gui (press N on player).

Later Sales. We had a few disagreements here and there, but you were a good Developer. You had some cool ideas for Era, sucks they were never finished.

This means Deo will replace Mange and Tig will replace Sales...BREAKING NEWS :O!

to add of what Crow sed, Tig sed himself that his work at Era will be as temporarly as posible.

It's really not that hard. If I didn't think I could handle the position temporarily I wouldn't do it. You need to realize that when Sales quit the team on Era, there was no one who could be the development admin at the time. The only possible candidate, you, was disqualified because you just returned to Era two days ago after leaving Era.

This is a huge blow though. Haha. I quit a few days ago from GBA and Ganis, then I heard about snake quitting and thought the server was going down, and now Sales AND Mange? Deophite was supposed to be a temporary staff and is now Player Services Admin and Tig is Dev Admining our server while Managing a bigger server.

Holding off giving people manager is what caused this meltdown, so holding off more isn't going to help either. My opinion is that we need someone strong to take manager and hold it. The faster this happens, the better.

Too bad Era doesn't have a pool of competent and trustworthy managers/developers.

Honestly Tigairius, I really don't think it's at all in Era's best interest to have you as manager. Don't get me wrong you're a brilliant developer - no disrespect meant with that comment, however; I doubt you can handle GK, PWA & Era.

I think this thread pretty much shows how immature the manager you've just put in place is. Get a real manager for Era.

I understand your concern, but you have to realize that at the time of this decision there were no other choices, and this is as temporary as possible.

Tigairius told me to ask this, so he finds it acceptable to post, no worries. Tig, from what I can see Ol' West is a dead server. How are you fit to manage Era if that's how you managed Ol' West, a similar server?

Ol' West did not have a large active community, where as Era does. After trying to get Ol' West started for 4-5 years it was very hard to stay motivated.

I think this thread was about Sales resigning, and it's been said so I'm going to close this now.
