hi hi, can someone post all the ganis/images for the classic weapons? such as shovel, hammer, skippingrope and stuff like that

also, if you can think of any other things similar please post them too, thank you ^^^^

Most of the Classic weapons didn't use ganis so you'll probably have to make them yourself. Here's the skipping rope and a hammer made by Dusty, but the sound should be arrowon.wav rather than the sign popping.

It's already in your graal folder along with two scripts in

C: \...\Graal\levels\weapons\

Those are not included in the 5.12 setup file for Graal ;o So old players might have it, but new players won't :o

Weird, wasn't in my graal folder :p

Thanks for the share though :]

Edit: Found out you have to download the level editor to get the levels/weaspons/ folder :)

You guys do realize don't you that those are still the property of Classic and not for use globally without Masterstorms permission correct?

[email protected] 01-08-2009 08:37 PM

hmm- you mean gfx only right?

Bell 01-08-2009 08:45 PM

Well, the original weapons were gs1 so had to be converted anyway to gs2. So yea, it would basically mean the graphics belong to them. It just seems like a roundabout way of having content theft if you use the same images and same name for the weapons. It makes Classic lose any of its own originality if someone uses everything it ever developed and doesn't quite seem right.

Aha- thats fine. I don't mind on the graphics being replaced hehe

You're kidding, right? Everything in weapons/ has been available before Graal used dedicated servers for their hosting, and they were basically open for anyone to use(like much of old Classic's graphics). I can understand the need for newer work to be property of Classic, since quality and work has gone up since then, but all those old graphics should not be kept to just Classic. That's a bit stingy, no?

Not to mention another example of misguided, selective enforcement.
