Scamming Rule?
 

See if the person whom was scammed had any
witnesses. Also, talk to the scammer and see if he scammed
him, they will usually brag about it and tell you they did it. If they
do admit to it, tell an admin (such as NightLord or Mr. Bear),
and have them return the items to the person scammed.
Provide accountnames for the scammed and the scammer,
along with the items that need to be taken away and given to
whomever, and the situation will be resolved quickly.


I was PMed this by Graal Warrior after i scammed few people (un-aware of the "new rule" since it is not on the rules site.) I think such rules should be accepted/approved by Stefan (If they already aren't) since this is an issue he has commented on with "Scamming is not illegal."

YES. WHEN I PM THE LINE "okay, but you have to drop hat first" THEY SHOULD KNOW IT IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM. :)

If Police witness the scam, they should take action. If these were medieval times and someone stole in front a law-enforcer, then action would have been taken. Same rules should apply here.

Regardless what era it takes place in, any place that has law enforcement officers wouldn't just stand by and say "Hey look at that guy run off with the other guy's hat."

Toranksu you dont get it, two Police officers witnessed the scam. Your only complaining because you havent been in their position yet. How would you feel if you were broke and trying to sell hats to get money and then some jerk comes up and steals the hat and runs off. Your only turning to the forums for support from your friends, this is such a feeble arguement, you were punished and thats that. I suggest you avoid scamming others if you dont want to have this kind of conflict again.

And no, that was not my intention. I felt like bringing this rule that is not even posted on the police website -> rules to the Public, because the police are trying to take action, when no one is aware of the rule.
