Advice for pixeljoint challenge
 

I was wondering what to add to this and it is for the pixeljoint challenge. I have a limited pallete of 12 colors, I have already used 10. This means I have 2 more so what could I add? I was thinking scenery but I don't know what type. Maybe some of you could help me with this.

maybe just some stuff on the background, like a painting or something. or some cool patterns.

Turkey needs big turkey feathers

I am kind of confused about how to do the feathers. I was never good with fur and feather textures on a really small area. Could someone try helping or pointing me into a direction of how to do so?
