shoot

'TServerLevel.shoot(float, float, float, float, float, float, str, str) - shoots a projectile with x,y,z,angle, zangle, strength, ani, aniparams'

What's the aniparams called in the gani script file? I've tried this.attr[0-5] and nothing is still showing... any ideas?

Have you tried this.params[]?

Yeah, no fix. :[

You would need to use the distance formula

PHP Code:

distance = ((endx startx) ^ + (endy starty) ^ 2) ^ .5

... I think I got that right

If you just want to shoot a projectile to your mouse.. like Maloria:

use "getangle(mousex - player.x, mousey - player.y)"

Which of course isn't completely accurate simply leaving it like this. :D

I believe Cloven is implying how the player's coordinates are not at its center.

Leaving out an explanation is a legitimate reason to be ignored. And it's unhelpful and annoying.

Made you look.

The way I see it, if he's interested in actually knowing the answer, he'll ask again - and then I can answer properly. :)

Pelikano 01-03-2009 03:35 PM

Thanks for your answers.
I see.

Yes. Indeed. More like being tired by having people like GULTHEX etc. posting things like this:

Quote:

GULTHEX: y dosnt this scrpt wörk???
Person 1: Because you're doing this and that wrong and should change that.
Person 2: *points out the exact flaws*
GULTHEX: soooo uuuuh y dosnt it work????
It happened a lot a while back.

Trying to make fun of superiorly intelligent persons on the forums only makes you look bad, you know. Not that it matters, but I've only had one parent my entire life and that one was pretty much broke. :)
