Does anyone want to play around with making a Mario-styled playerworld? Make it a platform style, with very simple styled graphics. But add more game play than just going through levels. Can even go a COMPLETELY different way form a Mario style, and add some leveling in it or something. But ya, just a thought. Wanna do it for fun, so bleh!>_<

Adding some online elements to it would be the main factor, and the fun factor. There's no way I'll play a Graal version of Mario, I'll go ahead and play Mario. There should be something different that makes it interesting.

For example, maybe the NPCs that the players kill can be controlled by other players, or something that would make things more interesting and challenging for both players. Also, having a 2-D Side scroller like Mario would suck having 10-15 players on a screen at once running to the right.

Thought that server got removed for copyright issues.

There used to be a server called Legend that tried to be a Maple Story clone.

lol, on Guild Zeron there was a Mario event, scripted by Jamie, with nice graphics, all from the first marios ^^ it was fun.

Basically when you take someone else's work, copy it, and then profit off of there ideas.

I've yet to see a platforming system on Graal that was up to what I'd even consider NES standards. Platforming in general is all about solid controls and smooth gameplay... something I haven't seen here yet.

I think it would be awesome to make a cool side-scroller on Graal like Paper Mario or something with a leveling system and stuff. Even if it were 1-player, would be awesome.

Well if any scripters are up for trying it, I'd for sure do the graphics.
