[Suggestion] Keybinding the /clear command
 

To clear the text in the lower right corner of your screen. It gets cluttered with messages easily, especially when you're pking.

It would certainly be sweet to be able to hotkey the /clear command. It would make my and probably a lot of other's time on gk much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Agreed. I was just PKing 10 mins ago while casting, and I had to keep clearing, and it was funking me up :(

Key Binding needs to be revised in general. However, I think a better solution to this problem would be to introduce a slight transparency to the MUD text and also set a limit to how many MUD messages may display at once.

This would also work. It bothers me how the text goes waaay up past your hp gui ;<

Agree on that also.. especially when I'm trying to see how much grace points I have to recast a spell when killing Zombies. But I can't see how much I got b/c the directors/Holy Word spams chat.

I agree, it would be great to be able to bind commands to keys.

i want food to bind to a key and treasuremaps

Shift commands would also be nice.

Also it seems that messages popping up makes me lag, I mean when I use /clear I feel way better !

It could help if you do /listen 0 which will stop showing some of the text but you'll still get battle text which is still annoying.

I'm going to look in to redoing the keybinding stuff.

Okay, rebuilt the key-binding stuff.

/bind set KEY COMMAND

will set your command to specified key. For example, "/bind set c clear"

This also works with commands that have a space now, such as "/bind set c kingdom tag"

Does this work for anyone? For me it only works on my 1-9 keys. Tig said it's just me, I want to see what others have to say.

-Edit: Binding has to be in uppercase in order to work.
