Matchmaking

Why hasn't someone created a server which is really a matchmaking lobby where you can select a gametype (Slayer, CTF, VIP, etc) and then go into matchmaking where you'd be matched against players around your skill level on various maps. I am pretty tired so I can't really put my thoughts into words, but just think of Halo and CoD and you get my point.
