Gelat Weapons in Events
 

Hi,

Due to recent complaints I will be holding a poll to gain the players opinions regarding Gelat weapons in events.


The poll is addressing them being used in events that a weapon is the prize (Redpistole, bluepistole, etc.).

If you have an issue with the minor events you may post about it, but spam and flaming/personal attacks will not be tolerated at all. I don't want this thread being derailed by immature antics.

Please post your reasoning behind your vote.

I don't think this poll really makes a difference, Dante. For the past 2 months there have only been 2 biggish events that have used Gelat Weapons in the DM Weapon set. Theres been about 30 biggish events in the past 2 months.

No. Gelat weapons should not be allowed in a competition of skill. My reasoning behind this is that in a competition of skill, the amount of money you have is irrelevant. It is irrelevant because skill is and should be the most important factor in a major skill event.

The only reasonable circumstance in which I would agree with gelat weapons being allowed would be if all the players were in possession of the weapons, which is not very likely.

Less then 7% of major events in the past 2 months have featured a Gelat weapon as selectable weapon. Maybe because a certain ETA purposely keeps overpowered Gelat weapons that people pay cash for out of events...

Seeing as so few Gelat weapons are used in the first place there isn't much of a point for this poll.
