Couldn't connect to the server (mac)

Hi! I'm on a Mac at college and I installed Graal on it but It doesn't seem to be able to connect. Each time I open graal, i get the "Couldn't connect to the server (mac)". Could it be because I don't have enough privileges ?
Is there a way to make it work? Help would be great =D

The Mac version of Graal is really sketchy. The only things I can say are make sure your internet is working, and try taking it out of the disk image, if it isn't.

do you have firewall set up?and ya colleges screw those kind of things up could be that

The internet is working and I tryed taking it out of the disk images. I think Vman is right it's probably the college firewall!!
