Hopefully this helps out some beginning pixelers with larger graphics. I know it doesn't have all that many steps but it was kinf of too late to do it when I thought of that idea. There is also a nice pallete if anyone is interested.

I'm impressed :)
huge amount of colors tho |
I was gonna say the same thing about the color count, but he said there was a palette to go along with it... so I guessed they weren't used.
No need to dither the stem. Stems on pumpkins are segmented, and I think the pre-dithering portrayed that fairly well. I'd also say ditch the dithering altogether as it doesn't really do a good job of portraying the type of texture a pumpkin has -- slick, smooth and a bit glossy. Also, the face cut into the pumpkin shows does not show the depth of the actual object. You should be able to see the 'wall' of the pumpkin inside the face, as if it were actual carved out, instead of painted on. |
I like it.
My suggestions are work on making it look like a pumpkin (pumpkins aren't perfectly shaped like that), and the top appears to be too far above the actual pumpkin. Good job. |

Well I kind of suck at the glossy look at would need to kind of look at them more. Mostly for me to achieve a glossy look I have to use a good amount of colors which I was trying not to. I would like to have some tips on it if anyone would help me. |

I added some depth to the graphic. I just didn't edit the shading of the light in the background.

The bottom seems to flat, maybe add some shape?

I randomly make pallete, actually I don't even make palletes. I don't know how to use palletes and compare them to see if it all will work for me. I just experience with colors until I find it to be decent looking.
