Forums are very cluttered
It always occurs to me, particularly in the Main Froum section, that there is waaaaay too much going on here.
There are over 8 subforums, 4 stickies, etc... Does anybody else think it's hard to navigate this way? |
I dont find it hard to navigate at all. I use the "new posts" link. :)
|
Like MG I use the "new posts" link, but I also find it to be too cluttered. It needs to be cleaned up so new users aren't instantly put off by the giant wall of sub-forums in the main section.
|
It would help if the jobs forum was moved (or not expanded). Also, perhaps move "Server Maintenance" to the Playerworlds forum.
|
Make it so the subforums in the Job forum aren't visible from this forum.
|
We could also prune locked/deleted/way old topics, or move them to a hidden archive section. Inverness has the right idea, too.

A lot of the sub-forums could be all within one forum. The majority of stickied threads could also be too!1
|
I have no problem with the forums.. They are good for me.
|
The hiring sub forums could be always be moved to their actual parent forums.
Eg. Zone hiring's forum to Zone Forum Era hiring forum to Era forum PWA hiring forum to PWA forum etc. |
Yeah I agree, I posted something similar when the forums were made free here and apparently it was planned, but never happened. The forums should be expanded on to reflect Graal more to attract more players to use the forums (amongst other things of course) and a lot could be improved about the forums as well, but nobody can do it!

Scripting help should never be removed because it's old. |
In my opinion the only reason to delete old forums posts would be if the server is running out of disk space and more is needed. I am completely ignorant of how much disk space a large forum would take on average though.

Is it within your power to make it so the jobs forum is collapsed and not showing the sub-sub forums? |
