Best Version for Zone?
 

What was the best version of zone for you, and explain why.

mine was v4, because it was the first version i played, and there was none of these rediculess updates that have apparently 'ruined' graal as they say. but they still log on the game to play anyways.

the version that allowed trails to save their progress.

The one there was when Zone was released as a gold server. Awesome.

I prefer elements of each version.
V3 - This was just old school. The nice thing about V3 was that Zone Wars was an actual planet, not an events planet, and there wasn't guild wars. I don't remember much about it, just that Alpha was so much fun!
V4 - I enjoyed that events were scarce but when they happened they were a lot of fun.
V5- I like some of the mini events that have been introduced.

zone v2006 :)

i loved to play zone when i was a trial, i believe it was v1, could've been v2,
i was a trial, and altough i couldn't save my progress, i had 100 hp, and could join guilds.
What more could i want? To bad that was about 7? years ago, i can be wrong.

v2 was the best by far, it was so much simpler, smoother, and more fun:) i miss v2

I liked the "Bloo" era of Zone along with the version right when Zone Wars was uploaded.

V4 version was good to me(Because the Zone shop items, no gelat system etc.), but I like the fact trials can save now.

To be honest it's one of the reasons why Zone has more players again. They tried to make it fully p2p and screw trials over to the extreme but then saw that Zone wasn't good enough to sustain players that way.

If that ever happened, Zone would of been screwed In My Opinion. Then, seing that this update screwed it, they would of de-updated, but, the fact they lost most of the old players would of killed it for good.

They should combinate all Zone's together

It did happen, don't you remember the screen limitations and observer mode for trials on Zone?

Yes I do remember, and it sucket. But atleast trials still had access. If they ever cutted the acces, Zone's Death would came.

It wasn't too bad... but still. I don't like playing a game where I can't save, and where I am not allowed to pay for.

though when i culdnt save my progress I was the noobest of noobs xD i learned how to use TAB to talk like 1 week later-.-

I liked the version where there was no gelats, no noobs with photons, that was fun zone.

v4 was the best version of Zone for me because it's the only one I can remember clearly.

when it was v2 was when zone was funnest for me, appirces where smoother to use, movement seemed easier, trials where more fun, everything seemed more based around players having fun other than spending money.

Definitevily before V5, preferabily before Photon, many will agree. I remember when you could buy grenades and ammo, and all those tricks from the gold members just to piss off trials. Saying you could save after 4000exp and stuff like that. Oh, and the time where you could get one free week of suscription by phone, my my, how many times did I abused it? More than 20 times for sure xD.

The v2-v3 era was awesome. The price plan was the best back then. Trials had the same abilities as P2Ps, but they couldn't save. So theoretically a trial could buy a jetpack, but would lose it after logging off.

The only issue that I felt was bad about this price system was the yearly subscriptions. If there were monthly or even weekly subscriptions, then people would feel more comfortable putting a small amount of money aside to at least try the game as a member for a week or so, instead of going all out and subscribing for an entire year.

Oh, those were the days. Especially since no overpowered weapons like the handgun and photon were released. The second best era of Zone was just after the Bluerifle was released, any further after that and it goes downhill.

OMG without trials there would be no one to lame!

My favorite is V99 because it won't exist ;P

v3 because that's when all the skilled players played. There were a lot of fun bugs and not so many lame items.
