Fantasy Life is now hiring all development positions. Our staff team is already skilled to pursue our ideas, but help always makes things much smoother. If joined, you will be surrounded by some pretty talented developers to learn and build from. To see more information about the server, take a look at the servers Information Thread.



Development Positions Available:
-NAT ( 1 Skilled NAT, could maybe use one more )
-GAT ( I can manage alone on the graphics of the server, but help is welcome )
-LAT ( We have three very talented LAT's at the moment. More skilled workers are still welcome also though )
-GANI ( Currently 0 skilled Gani artists on the server )
-SFX ( 0 SFX workers on the server )

-> LAT - Not in need, unless you like to play with tiles until they are 100% completed.
-> GAT - Not needed seeing as most people can't 'keep up' with standards of the tiles. Most who can, aren't willing to help..
-> NAT - In need of any NAT help.
-> GANI - Don't need GANI'rs, but could use them.
-> SFX - More than welcome to join the team.
--> Idlers - Idle on RC and basically keep PC high for staff to feel less 'lonely' so they get work done. (Most staff hate working alone on a server, including me.)

What do I get if I'm an idler..

Basically an RC, with warp rights. Maybe I'll throw in some boots and an Idler tag just for you.

I'm very interested. I don't think I'd be fit for the job though.

Haha... Idlers come with a instruction booklet y'know..

1) Log on Fantasy Life.
2) Let Manager set you up with an RC.
3) Open your Graal Remote Control
4) Login and find 'Fantasy Life' on the list of servers.
5) Double click it to log on Fantasy Life RC.
6) Idle......

Fit for the job now? :o

Are you being serious about this? Idlers sounds like a rather stupid and worthless position.

But yes, forreal forreal. I'm being serious... Whether you think it works or not (being a guy who probably has hardly any dev time under his belt), it does increase staff activity. Every time I tried it on a server, my staff are on more often.. So whenever I am busy and can't be on a whole lot, the idlers are still online, chatting up RC or there to judge your work if you need another opinion. Keeps the server more lifelike, making the work environment so much better.. It has worked every time I've done it, so why take the idea away? I see no reason to not do it.

Why would a server hire idlers? I mean come on, you're just being too desperate.

Desperate for what? A little active chatting? It's not like it's a popularity thing. It worked quite well on Interitus.

Haha exactly. And everybody knows AEON is such a slow developing server.. I mean, I've worked there and Tyreal has had the same away message for RC for over a month..

And yea, uhh being desperate has nothing to do with hiring a RC with no rights to really dev on the server or anything. They basically chat on RC, and most developers like to get people on to show/tets there work with cause they need opinions. So there really isnt any way they can hurt or mess up anything on the server. Worst thing they could do is make staff activity go up.. Something AEON has not had, so don't come here with your meaningless remarks..

Let us get back to the hiring, if SK has something to further discuss about what he's going on about, I would appreciate it if it's in a forum PM.. But I highly doubt he will take something that's on such a mature route..

I'm sorry, but I didn't exactly insult your server. I more like laughed at your "Idler" idea. I certainly didn't expect that you would throw out garbage from thin air. Next time you're trying to insult AEON, try to get the facts right.

Angel, you ought to work more at era, i dont get why you apply for a position there and never worked in era.

I'm not even continuing this with you. Your obviously trying to put on a 'show' for the community, otherwise you would've went to forum PM...
I work on Era, but whenever I'm on, there isn't much to do so I spit out some random GFX that I have to think of.. And it's not like I can be busy creating something a lot on there like new tiles, seeing as some staff made the remark "I'd quit if we got new tiles".. They, for some reason, love the era tiles..

Next time you're receiving an insult, try to take it personally and attempt to save your face by defending yourself.

So did I, until i had some irl problems. In fact i had 3 tasks due to me by HM, which were then put on hold because of the PWA and era staff rivalry. And apparently, you were never on to split the work with. There is also more work than just the tiles.
